Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) for SQL Server now supports Cumulative Update 19 (CU19 – 16.0.4185.3) for SQL Server 2022. This CU includes performance improvements and bug fixes, and is available for SQL Server Express, Web, Standard, and Enterprise editions. Review the Microsoft release notes for CU19 for details.
We recommend that you upgrade to this latest CU to benefit from the performance improvements and bug fixes. You can upgrade with just a few clicks in the Amazon RDS Management Console or by using the AWS SDK or CLI. Learn more about upgrading your database instances from the Amazon RDS User Guide.
