We are announcing the ability to apply dimension defaulting configuration rules to automatically get financial dimensions from contract lines or the related project for expense lines in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach general availability on September 12, 2025.
How does this affect me?
This capability builds on the existing Enable flexibility when determining financial dimension defaults (For both resource-based/non-stocked scenarios) feature. When enabled, environments can set dimension defaulting configuration rules to automatically get financial dimensions from contract lines or the related project for expense lines.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness and no action is required.
