We are announcing new tooling to help troubleshoot VNET (Virtual Network) configuration via a new PowerShell module to troubleshoot issues for virtual networks in Microsoft Power Platform. This feature will reach general availability on October 31, 2025.
PowerShell module: Microsoft.PowerPlatform.EnterprisePolicies
How does this affect me?
The module includes several functions to diagnose and troubleshoot issues that are related to virtual network configurations. Some of the key functions are as follows:
- Get-EnvironmentRegion: Retrieves the region of the specified Power Platform environment
- Get-EnvironmentUsage: Provides information about the usage of the specified Power Platform environment
- Test-DnsResolution: Tests the DNS resolution for the specified domain name
- Test-NetworkConnectivity: Tests the network connectivity between the Power Platform environment and the specified virtual network
Admins should review the updated documentation if they have Power Platform VNET configured or planning to enable it. No UI controls are available at this time.
