(Updated) Cancelled: Loop app grace period is ending [MC1184645]

Message ID: MC1184645 (Updated)

Updated December 16, 2025: To ensure the best customer experience we have decided not to proceed with the rollout of this change at this time. The grace period is no longer ending. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience.

[Introduction]

The Loop app grace period is ending. This grace period was granted to organizations that participated in the Loop app Public Preview between March and November 2023, allowing all users—regardless of license—to create and manage Loop workspaces. To align with Microsoft 365 licensing requirements, this grace period will end in December 2025. After this change, only users with a qualifying Microsoft 365 plan will retain full workspace capabilities in the Loop app.

[When this will happen:]
