Changes coming to the Copilot experience for Windows [MC890889]

The Copilot experience on Windows is changing in response to your feedback. Moving forward, users with work or school accounts will access Microsoft Copilot through the Microsoft 365 app. In addition, Microsoft Copilot will offer enterprise data protection (EDP) at no additional cost for all users signed in with an Entra account. This means that security, privacy, and compliance controls and commitments available for Microsoft 365 Copilot will extend to Microsoft Copilot prompts and responses.

Microsoft PowerPoint: QuickStarter feature retires starting October 2024 [MC884762]

Starting October 8, 2024, and ending December 31, 2024, we will retire the Microsoft PowerPoint QuickStarter feature from Microsoft Office version 2409 for Windows and Microsoft Office version 2410 for Mac. The feature will be unavailable going forward in Office. QuickStarter was never available in PowerPoint for the web.

Microsoft 365 admin center will support continuous access evaluation (CAE) [MC884015]

We will enable continuous access evaluation (CAE) of tokens in the Microsoft 365 admin center in September 2024. This feature will proactively terminate active user or admin sessions, or require reauthentication, and enforce tenant policy changes in near real time instead of waiting for an access token to expire.
