If your systems do not trust the DigiCert G2 root, authentication failures will occur when accessing Microsoft Entra services. What’s changing? DigiCert Global Root G2 becomes the trusted root CA for Microsoft Entra. Clients pinned to G1 or not trusting G2 will fail authentication. Impact if you don’t act: Service disruptions for login.microsoftonline.com, login.live.com, login.windows.net, autologon.microsoftazuread-sso.com, graph.windows.net. Users may lose access to critical Microsoft Entra services.
