New Microsoft Outlook for Windows: Sharing Word, Excel, and PowerPoint local files through email [MC882252]

Before this rollout, users are only able to see old Outlook for Windows when they try to share a Word, Excel or PowerPoint fie. After this rollout, when users want to share a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file that is saved to their device (not stored in a cloud like Microsoft OneDrive), the user can right-click the file name in File Explorer, select Share, and select new Outlook for Windows to email the file.

Exchange Online: New Groups experience default update in Outlook on the web and new Outlook for windows [MC882271]

Group users won’t have access to the old Groups experience in the left navigation pane below the primary mailbox level after this change. Users can access the new Groups experience by going to the navigation bar on the left margin and selecting the Groups icon below the People icon or by clicking on the Groups button below primary mailbox.

Microsoft Outlook: Review and update work hours and location in the My Day pane [MC877318]

Coming soon to Microsoft Outlook: Work hours and location information will be available in the My Day pane in Outlook. Users will be able to update their Work Hours and Location information from My Day and also see who is coming to Office. This message applies to new Outlook for Windows desktop and Outlook for the web.

Microsoft Outlook for the web: Third-party cookie block causes users to sign in again on Chrome and Edge [MC871011]

Microsoft Outlook for the web is undergoing an authentication platform migration to a public client authentication model using MSAL (Microsoft Authentication Library). The change to client-side authentication will be subject to Google's third-party cookie block that may be active in Chrome and Edge.

In the new "Account" category that we've introduced to Outlook web, you can view and manage your account details, and even access your subscription details for Microsoft 365 and Copilot if you're logged into a Consumer Outlook account.
