For non-active sidebar users and new Microsoft Edge users, the sidebar will be turned OFF. Users can go to Settings > Sidebar to turn the sidebar ON again at any time. For active sidebar users, the current sidebar state will remain the same.

Microsoft PowerPoint: QuickStarter feature retires starting October 2024 [MC884762]

Starting October 8, 2024, and ending December 31, 2024, we will retire the Microsoft PowerPoint QuickStarter feature from Microsoft Office version 2409 for Windows and Microsoft Office version 2410 for Mac. The feature will be unavailable going forward in Office. QuickStarter was never available in PowerPoint for the web.

We will enable continuous access evaluation (CAE) of tokens in the Microsoft 365 admin center in September 2024. This feature will proactively terminate active user or admin sessions, or require reauthentication, and enforce tenant policy changes in near real time instead of waiting for an access token to expire.
