Power Apps – View all pipelines and get recommendations in deployments hub [MC1071232]

Message ID: MC1071232

We are announcing the ability to view deployment history and the current state of your environments via the deployment hub page in the Maker Portal (make.powerapps.com). This feature will reach general availability on May 15, 2025.

How does this affect me?
This feature will allow admins to leverage application lifecycle management (ALM) operations from a single page in the Maker Portal. The deployment page features the following:

  • A section that displays failed deployments, allowing makers to understand why a deployment failed and what actions can be taken to ensure a successful deployment.
  • A section that displays ongoing deployments, giving makers a quick overview of deployments in progress and if any additional approvals or actions are needed for a deployment to progress.
  • A section that displays recommendations, allowing makers to leverage ALM operations to maintain a healthy state for their environments.
  • A section displaying a specially filtered run history, allowing you to see all of the deployments specific to an environment, instead of a singular solution or pipeline deployment.

What do I need to do to prepare?
This message is for awareness and no action is required.

If you would like more information on this feature, please visit the View solution deployments on the deployment page article.

The recent update to Power Apps, which introduces the ability to view all pipelines and get recommendations in the deployment hub, is set to be a game-changer for both admins and users. With this feature rolling out on May 15, 2025, the deployment hub in the Maker Portal will streamline application lifecycle management (ALM) operations significantly.

For admins, this means no longer having to navigate through multiple pages or tools to check the status of deployments. Instead, they can view deployment history, ongoing deployments, and even receive actionable recommendations—all from a single page. Imagine the time saved! Plus, the ability to see failed deployments and understand the reasons behind them allows admins to proactively address issues, which is a win for everyone involved.

Users will also benefit from this update. With real-time visibility into ongoing deployments and a clear understanding of what’s needed for approvals or actions, they can stay informed and engaged in the process. It’s like having a backstage pass to the deployment show—no more wondering what’s happening behind the curtain!

The impact of these changes is likely to be substantial. By fostering better communication and transparency, both admins and users can collaborate more effectively, leading to smoother deployments and, ultimately, more successful application management. It’s a win-win situation, and who doesn’t love those?

So, what do you think about this update? Will it make your life easier, or are you still skeptical about the changes? Share your thoughts in the comments below! And for more insights, don’t forget to check out other posts on mwpro.co.uk. Let’s keep the conversation going!
