AWS announces significant improvements to AWS Cost Anomaly Detection, enhancing its ability to identify meaningful changes in your AWS spending patterns. This update delivers more consistent and reliable cost monitoring by better handling historical cost variations.
With this improvement, Cost Anomaly Detection better understands your organization’s typical spend patterns. It distinguishes between one-time and recurrent cost events, while maintaining accuracy in detecting cost changes that require your attention
These improvements are automatically applied to all AWS Cost Anomaly Detection monitors in all AWS Regions, except the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions and the China Regions.
