Audio-only recording now available in Microsoft Teams [MC1173926]

Message ID: MC1173926

[Introduction]

We’re excited to announce that the convenience recording feature in Microsoft Teams is now expanding to include support for Audio-only recording in meetings and calls. With this new functionality, users can now keep their cameras on during meetings while opting to record only the audio, offering a more comfortable and convenient recording experience.

This new feature provides a valuable option for users by enhancing efficiency and accuracy in documenting meetings and calls. It alleviates concerns about facial information exposure when recording is necessary, offering a more privacy-conscious approach to recording meetings.

This message applies to Teams for Windows desktop, Teams for Mac desktop, Teams for the web, and Teams for iOS/Android.
